The Houston Texans recently suffered a defeat against the Baltimore Ravens on 10 September. At the same time, the Indianapolis Colts also lost against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Now, both losing teams are pumped up to play as opponents against each other this Sunday.

Ahead of the scheduled match of week 2, the Texans released their injury report. The situation of the team seems to have worsened. The caption, C.J. Stroud seems to be under a lot of stress. A lot of players have been injured which might become a big problem for the team. Many players might not completely participate in the game which will be a major obstacle in the team’s win.

Ravens and Texans Wednesday injury report out

It wasn’t just the Texans whose players were injured, the winning team, the Ravens also had injured players. The list of the Texans comprised a total of 4 players who did not participate. The Texans’ safety, Jimmie Ward suffered a hip injury so he did not participate. Following him is safety Jalen Pitre. The Texas-born couldn’t participate because of a chest injury. The offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil also suffered a knee injury due to which he did not participate.

Next in line is the linebacker Neville Hewitt, he was also listed in the category of a player who did not participate as he had illness. Not just these players, 7 players are up for limited participation only. Many players including linebacker Blake Cashman, wide receiver John Metchie III, and safety Grayland Arnold faced hamstring injuries. RT George Fant, LB Denzel Perryman, TE Dalton Schultz as well as WR Robert Woods were listed under limited participation.

Only one player who plays as running back, Dare Ogunbowale was listed out at full participation. But, most of these players will be seen on-field as they are on the road to healing. However, Jalen Pitre and Jimmie Ward have the least amount of chances to be on-field. If they are, it’ll be a shocker to everyone. But not everything has been bad for the team. Recently, the quarterback C.J. Stroud was picked as the captain marking good news and he pointed out a few changes that will help the team.

The Texans are all set to play better

In the last game, the quarterback C.J. Stroud did not complete any touchdowns but he managed to avoid any interceptions. After the game, the player commented on the things that he learned that have to be changed. He said that to play against such a great team was a big opportunity for them even though it was his first time in the NFL.

The player further added that even though they didn’t win that game, it taught them a lot and fans will definitely see an improvement in their next game. Furthermore, he said that he also has to improve overall. The team is determined even more now to secure their first win this season.
