Two days before the game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, the Bills’ QB has taken some friendly and respectful shots at his opposite number. Ahead of the action-packed game against Jets, Josh Allen shared his two cents on the encounter and his views on his upcoming opponents.

The 2020 Second-Team All-Pro winner featured on the recent Rich Eisen Show. Speaking with the through and through Jets fan, Allen shared his heartfelt views on a variety of matters. Rich Eisen asked him regarding the team’s opener against the NY Jets. With the mouthwatering contest promising to be another cracker of a game. Josh Allen called his opposite number Aaron Rodgers an “old guy”. However, the Bills stalwart was quick to throw in his respect behind the NFL legend. All was done in a good banter before the game got underway.

Josh Allen, the Bills longstanding quarterback player took on the questions and shared some interesting stories. While speaking about Aaron Rodgers, the 2X Pro Bowl winner shared his views about the game. He said “Aaron Rodgers’ one of those guys that I grew up watching and want to emulate on the field….But him as a person and how he has handled himself over whatever he has played. He’s an old guy now but we have a pretty good friendship.”

The player with the highest passer rating in a single postseason during 2021. He further weighed in on A-Rod’s legacy.“They’ve played us really well the last couple of years….I think you know adding Aaron Rodgers as the first-ballot Hall of Famer. It’s always tough to go out against those types of guys.” It’s heartening to see that a young player who’s had some experience showing respect for a senior pro.

It’s rightly the battle of the best QBs in the competition. On one side there’s Josh Allen, an NFL stalwart. He has pretty good numbers in his 6-year career so far. Accounting for nearly 2500 passing attempts, and completing almost 19,000 yards with 138 touchdowns.
