Veteran NFL WR and ex-Philadelphia Eagles star Desean Jackson has again shocked his fans. This comes within hours of his last Instagram post, where he shocked everyone with a post that looked like his retirement announcement. This time, however, he clarified on his latest Instagram post about the real meaning behind all the rumors.
The post clarified any doubts over his retirement news but gave fans more to ponder over with an Eagle icon at the end. Could he be teasing his return to Philadelphia Eagles?

His last announcement came through an Instagram post around 9 PM on the night of 15th July. The post came with a caption “Did it my way 15 years strong!! Neva anotha like it! #0ne0fone”. Fans started reacting immediately after assuming it to be a retirement post. Some congratulated him for his contribution, especially to the Eagles camp, while some showed gratitude by remembering his best moments.

However, on 17th July, he shared an Instagram story that was posted at 4:10 AM July 17th. The post read “They reaching my last post wasn’t a retirement post! I just had to get some stuff off my chest!! Y’all will know when the Boi retire!! [Eagle]”. Though this post has clarified doubts over his retirement news it has raised more eyebrows over a potential comeback to the Eagles camp.
Will Jackson be back at the Eagles?
Desean Jackson is known for his stint with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 to 2014 and then again in 2019 and 2020.
In a career spanning over 15 seasons, starting from the 2008 NFL draft, he has recorded 11,263 receiving yards and 66 touchdowns. He ranks 37th in the NFL all-time list of most receiving yards.

He was released due to his off-field activities. Jackson responded aggressively to the situation by stating “It was a f–ked up situation for me, I took that personally. That’s why I did go to Washington, and every time I played the Eagles, I made them regret that decision,” on the All The Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes. He joined the Eagles again but failed to replicate his old form again.
Desean has given such indirect and direct statements about his retirement in the past as well. The most notable one is at ‘I am Athlete Podcast’ with Brandon Marshall.
