Yet, President/GM Jerry Jones let a few of his top stars walk off this offseason, making his choices very dubious. They did not re-sign edge rusher Randy Gregory, traded wide receiver Amari Cooper and trimmed off right tackle La’el Collins.

Even though the franchise drafted nine fresh faces on the roster, the likelihood of a Super Bowl run looks slim. The vision to bring up rookies needs some determination and luck. The serious question is whether the younger players who will substitute for the former leading contributors can make progress quickly enough.
