Her yesterday’s IG story was about the upcoming stadium, that holds a 11,500 capacity for spectators. While the former soccer player remains the force behind women’s soccer, this time the KCC co-owner shared a constructional timeline of this stadium that will soon be opening doors for the NWSL team.

The game-changing stadium is a feast for the eye

In her recent Instagram Story, Brittany Mahomes shared a 6-month transformation of the architecture. The development is going on at full pace and the stadium will open its doors to the public in the Spring of 2024. The construction of the facility costs a staggering $117 Million which will be funded by the owner group.

The 7.08-acre construction site is located at the Barkley Riverfront Park, at the heart of downtown Kansas. Sitting on the bank of the Missouri River, the arena will offer an unparalleled view of the city’s skyline. Once completed, the stadium will boast two grass pitches with FIFA-approved turf layering. It will offer world-class facilities such as recovery rooms, sauna, weight training, and cardio rooms for athletes. The stadium will also have a personal chef for the team’s dietary needs.
