The Broncos experienced their worst season last year. Even though they had Russell Wilson leading the team, they ended up with a record of 5-13 losses. Many have pinned the blame on ex-coach Nathaniel Hackett. Including current coach Sean Payton. Payton is not a fan of Hackett and he has made it clear as day ever since taking over the Broncos.
Now, Russell Wilson’s former head coach has come forward to reply to Payton’s comments. After his sudden dismissal from the Broncos last year, Hackett joined the Jets as the offensive coordinator. His new teammates have also come out in defense of him against Payton’s brutal attacks.

After facing such a terrible season last year, the Bronco’s new head coach, Payton, criticized Hackett for his coaching style. “It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s 20 dirty hands for what was allowed to be tolerated in the fricking training rooms and the meeting rooms.
After being tight-lipped for so long, Hackett finally broke his silence. “Me and my new offense have been practicing wasting the final minute off the clock to miss 64-yard field goals. We don’t have time to pay attention to his comments,” Hackett said.

In one of his interviews, 59-year-old Payton made a bad remark about Hackett’s coaching performance. Moreover, he also bashed veteran quarterback Wilson.
“They can only beat the [expletive] out of you so much, but everybody’s got a little stink on their hands. It’s not just [quarterback Russell Wilson]. It was a poor offensive line. It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was,” Payton said.
Although he apologized, Heckett seemed unaffected by his comments, as evident from his recent statement. Not just Payton, but Hackett’s newest teammates in New York also came out in defense of their new defense coordinator.

Jets teammates’ brutal remark about Payton
A former Broncos player and Jets talented wide receiver has spoken out against his former team’s coach, who has recently returned from suspension. Billy Turner, who now plays for the Jets, called out Payton on social media, describing him as a “f*king bum” who is trying to soften the blow of a difficult season. Turner’s teammate, Randall Cobb, who previously played for the Packers and now also plays for the Jets, expressed his opinion on the matter during an interview on ESPN New York’s “The Michael Kay Show.”
He praised Hackett, the Jets’ coach, for his ability to motivate players and make the game fun, which was a major factor in his decision to join the team. Cobb referred to Payton as the “Bountygate coach.”
