On Tuesday, safety Adrian Amos signed a one-year deal worth up to $4M to assist 39 YO war horse, Aaron Rodgers. The Jets’ decision to acquire Amos came as a surprise, considering they already had two starting-caliber safeties in Chuck Clark and Jordan Whitehead. However, it was later revealed in the news that Clark had experienced a potentially serious knee injury while practicing last week, reports confirmed. Jets’ reasonable Gamble
Amos dazzled with his finest season ever, racking up 102 tackles and snatching 10 interceptions, a feat that few can match in the NFL. However, he faced difficulties when it came to covering opponents, as he allowed them to successfully complete 70 percent of their passes and earn a rating of 107.7 against him. However, Amos also allowed a hefty 12.2 yards per catch, which is not considered ideal for Safety.
