At just 24, Patrick Mahomes is one of the most promising quarterbacks in the NFL along with Lamar Jackson. Mahomes was drafted by Kansas City Chiefs in 2017.

He was named the starting QB in his second NFL season after Alex Smith was traded to what was then the Washington Redskins.

At the end of 2018, Mahomes was crowned the league MVP and also made the Pro Bowl team for the first time in his career.

If 2018 was great then Mahomes followed that up with an improved season in 2019. The Texas-born quarterback led his team to their first Super Bowl triumph since 1970.

In light of his recent achievements, Mahomes is being compared to some of the greatest players in the league. One of the quarterbacks he’s being likened to is Green Bay Packers’ hero, Aaron Rodgers.

Patrick Mahomes appeared in a recent segment with GQ Sports. He goes undercover on the Internet and responds to real comments from YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Quora, and Wikipedia.

One of the questions that Mahomes answered was regarding his comparison to Aaron Rodgers.

“I don’t know if a lot of people remember the beginning of Aaron Rodgers’ career but I mean, he went to the Super Bowl and made a lot of the same and more throws than I made. I mean, he’s one of the best of all time.”

“He’s someone that I’ve taken a lot of stuff from. So, to me, I’m just trying to get somewhere close towards the end of my career, to where he is. So, uh, to be around that by the end of my career, that would be the goal,” Mahomes said.

Pat Mahomes is a two-time Pro Bowler and is expected to make the cut this time as well. He recently got a 99 rating in the NFL Madden 21 edition which is considered to be a rather exclusive club.
