Former Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz was formally introduced as the new quarterback of the Washington Commanders on Thursday by the Commanders’ front office. The 29-year-old signal-caller emerged at the platform clad in the team’s colors of mustard yellow and red.
The athlete was once a representative of the Indianapolis Colts, but he is now a commander following a major headline-grabbing deal between the two teams. The Twitterverse is now expressing its thoughts on the newly debuting quarterback and his distinctive color palette.

Netizens gleefully rip the drip
Quarterback Carson Wentz wore a golden-yellow suit with a burgundy shirt to the press conference. The color palette was like that of the Washington Commanders’ jersey.

However, it didn’t take long for the jokes to take center stage on social media, with many comparing Wentz to Ronald McDonald and making parallels to a hot dog-themed comedy on Netflix’s “I Think You Should Leave”. Twitter surely wasn’t a big fan of his drip as well.

@cj_wentz that drip was 🔥. Don't take offense from radio hosts and 40+ year old dads with a 4 outfit rotation. That suit was slick AF

One user blamed it on the Washington Commanders for the bizarre color scheme of their jersey and appreciated Wentz as he showcased some team spirit.
honestly not Carson Wentz’s fault that the Commanders colors in suit form look like a hotdog. Guy’s absolutely dripping in team spirit

To say the least, the presentation looks intriguing. Carson Wentz is driving with the team spirit. Moreover, his yellow suit, which he has since his time in North Dakota, came in handy for the event.
For Wentz, it turned out that he already owned that jacket. He didn’t need to go out and buy a yellow suit jacket to reflect on his new team’s jersey in any regard. He may have never thought to have another chance to wear that garment after he finished college. But destiny figured out a plan.
