Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill wasn’t holding back while claiming his current quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to be an accurate passer than Patrick Mahomes. The former Super Bowl champion recently left Kansas City and will be suiting up as a Dolphins player in 2022. It was an intriguing yet obvious take by Hill for his current QB as he looks to form a solid partnership with Tua.

During the inaugural episode of ‘It Needed To Be Said‘ podcast while comparing Mahomes and Tagovailoa, Hill states, “Obviously, like I’m gonna go with 15 (Mahomes) as the strongest arm, but as far as accuracy-wise, I’m going with Tua all day.

He adds further, stating, “I’ve had a chance to see Tua throw the ball to myself. He’s that dude, bro… What a lot of people don’t know, like, I’m not just sitting just saying this because he’s my quarterback now.

While Hill and his claims appear audacious, the statistics provide validity to his argument about Tagovaiola being accurate. According to reports, Tagovaiola edges ahead of Patrick Mahomes with a 66.3 completion percentage over 66.2 completion percentage. But apart from his accuracy, Tagovailoa will be looking to raise his game against Mahomes next season.

While the Dolphins QB hasn’t been able to deliver these deep balls regularly in his career, the endorsement from Hill will be a considerable confidence boost.
