The Baltimore Ravens put up a good fight against their divisional champions, the Cincinnati Bengals, on Sunday. However, the team which had a very low chance of a win was thrown out of the postseason by Joe Burrow and his team. Ravens went into the game without their QB1 and former MVP, Lamar Jackson.

Jackson last stepped on the field on 4th December against the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson. The QB had to be taken off the field owing to a knee injury. While the fans expected their hero to return just in time for a playoff matchup. They were left disappointed following the lineup yesterday. Amidst all the frustration and questions over Jackson and the Ravens, a teammate of the 25-year-old gave an honest update on the health of the QB.
A startling Lamar Jackson update
Jackson recently opened up about his injury. The player made it clear that he was not going to be able to give a hundred percent with his knee. Moreover, that was enough of a nail in the coffin of his playoff hopes. But the fans were still optimistic. Even some teammates were looking up to Lamar in hope of a minor miraculous postseason magic. When the team had to stick with backup Tyler Huntley on Sunday, the same fans were seriously questioning the health of the player.
Marlon Humphrey said Lamar Jackson wasn't healthy enough to play, estimating him at 50 to 60%.
"I don’t even know if I should say this, but he’s like limping around the facility," Humphrey said. That’s kind of the crazy thing that people don’t see."

But a more honest assessment came from Jackson’s teammate. Cornerback, Marlon Humphrey, recently issued a brutal injury update on the star.
“I don’t even know if I should say this, but he’s like limping around the facility. That’s kind of the crazy thing that people don’t see.” The CB revealed.
Fans react to the latest news
Humphrey’s words raised a lot of concern among the fans in Baltimore. Following the little crumbs of hope that were being handed by the organization and the surrounding press, who mostly stuck with their day-to-day injury assessment narrative, has now come under serious scrutiny from the fans.
Sounds pretty “day to day” to me harbs 👍🏼

Head coach, John Harbaugh, seems to be the subject of the fans’ anger.
And Harbs couldn’t have his QBs back after he save his mediocre coaching self from being fired.

Even offensive coordinator Greg Roman has come under serious fire.
If he was at 50% and you discount another 50% of GROs ineptitude- he was prolly at zero

Greg Roman has been a raven killer all season long👍

While the frustration boils over, fans are also concerned about the health of the player. Especially when the contract extension talks are right around the corner.

He probably should have signed that contract.

The 2019 regular season MVP, who was playing with an expiring contract this season, rejected a 6-year $250 million deal from the Ravens before the season began. Jackson was looking for more guarantees on the deal than the reported amount of $133 million.

Now with the player limping, this will cast great doubt over the health of the dynamic player, who has been struggling with injuries for the better of the past couple of seasons. The Ravens still have the option to put a franchise tag on him and extend his contract for one more year if they do not agree on a deal this offseason.
