Patrick Mahomes is finally back on the field. The heart and the backbone of pretty much the entire Chiefs’ organization, Mahomes’ injury have had the Chiefs gasping for air. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will be taking on Joe Burrow’s Bengals in the AFC Championship game this weekend. The entire NFL world can’t wait to see the battle between two of the league’s top QBs.

Except, Mahomes’ injury might end up playing spoilsport in one of the most anticipated matchups of the year. Mahomes was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, which he suffered during the first quarter of the Chiefs Divisional Round game against the Jaguars.

 His recovery has been the primary concern for every single Chiefs fan. 

Fans are tentative after new Patrick Mahomes footage surfaces 

Patrick Mahomes joined the Chiefs on Wednesday in practice, for the first time since his scary injury. Many fans were overjoyed to see the QB in practice, but fans couldn’t help but notice the discomfort in Mahomes’ foot. Fans were doubtful of the QBs true status after footage emerged showing Mahomes training gingerly. 

Some fans were tentative about Mahomes’ body movements.

One fan also shared a medical perspective on Mahomes injury recovery.

Some fans did make light of the situation by joking about the situation.

The battle of the titans is all set

Mahomes and the Chiefs have confirmed that the QB will be ready in time for the AFC Title game. Fans have been waiting for this matchup all season. The two top QBs in the league gear up to face each other in a win-or-go-home matchup. With a position in the Super Bowl on the line, the stakes are as high as they get.

Mahomes looks to get the Chiefs back to the biggest stage in football after missing out last season. On the other hand, Joe Burrow and the Bengals are out for redemption. After losing to the Rams in the Super Bowl last year, Burrow finally has a shot to set the equation straight. He does have an edge on the Chiefs, as the only QB in the NFL to have a multiple-game unbeaten record against Patrick Mahomes. Burrow owns an unbeaten 3-0 clean slate record against Mahomes.

The matchup is set to be an absolute ripper as Mahomes and Burrow look to put on an offensive masterclass. We can’t wait for the game’s biggest juggernauts to clash at the highest level of football.
