Dak Prescott and Co. start the 2020 NFL season as firm favorites to make the NFL playoffs. Dallas Cowboys have brought in former Green Bay Packers man, Mike McCarthy, as their new head coach this season. The Cowboys wideout department, in particular, boasts some crazy talent, well at least on paper.
Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup will have a new wide receiver to compete against in the form of rookie CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys also brought in promising cornerback, Trevon Diggs, this offseason.
However, Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, still regards starting quarterback Dak Prescott as the difference-maker.

Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, seems real pleased by his team’s displays in preseason training. At least that’s the vibe we’re getting after listening to his recent comments on 105.3 THE FAN. Here’s what the seasoned NFL owner said about first-choice quarterback, Dak Prescott, for starters.

“He’s had an outstanding camp, by the way. Couldn’t have asked for more from him than what we’ve gotten. …I think he’s going to have a huge year,” Jones said via Michael Gehlkin.
Furthermore, Jones also spoke about some interesting tactical changes used by head coach Mike McCarthy this season.
“Out of the backfield, it should be interesting this year with more use of (Tony) Pollard and Zeke (Elliott) as receiver types. We’ve got that in and it’s gonna be very effective. I’m sure excited about that area,” Jones said on the show via Twitter.

We’re not sure how coach McCarthy feels about his boss giving out such crucial tactical information that can benefit Cowboys’ rivals. But we’ll leave that out for now. The Cowboys start their season with a crunch tie against Los Angeles Rams at the SoFi Stadium. Coach Mike McCarthy will hope to start his Cowboys tenure with a resounding win.
