The recent podcast appearance by Aaron Rodgers reveals an unusual mystery about his performance expertise. As the Packers QB discusses his mental wellbeing, he admits to using a psychedelic element. Given the magnitude of the pressure, the methods such athletes use to soothe themselves are plausible. However, A-Rod’s strategies are unsettling.

 

During The Herd, host Colin Cowherd opens the show by discussing the first preseason game. He also comes up to Aaron Rodgers and mentions that he will stick to talking about the Green Bay QB, as Cowherd thinks “He’s getting single, rich, older and weird”. Frankly, Cowherd is not the only one who might think so.

Noah mentions it is pleasant to see people like Aaron Rodgers normalizing discussions about whether psychedelics can enhance people’s mental well-being.

Rodgers mentions, “To me, one of the core tenets of your mental health is that self-love. That’s what ayahuasca did for me, was help me see how to unconditionally love myself. It’s only in that unconditional self-love that then I’m able to truly be able to unconditionally love others.
