Tom Brady, the undisputed NFL GOAT, is currently in his 23rd season. Many supporters would concur that the 45-year-old quarterback has not changed, despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ struggles to win games. And to make sure his teammates were aware of this, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford firmly defended Tampa Tom.

With a tremendous number of records and an unmatchable career, the NFL MVP has stayed consistent. Since his New England Patriots days, he has not stopped giving his best performance. Even though Brady is 45 years old, fans believe he plays better than the younger talents in the league.

Despite being the absolute best in the game, the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost three games consecutively. The Bucs’ QB is not completing many passes. Because of this, there are drastically decreased spectacular plays this season.

The roster changed a lot since 2020 (the year they defeated the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl LV). They miss the quickness of the infamous WR Antonio Brown. They also miss the trustworthy TE Rob Gronkowski. Despite all the inadequacies, Stafford of the Rams truly believes Brady is a dangerous threat.

Matthew Stafford, the LA Rams shot-caller, said, “I still think he throws it great. Obviously, he’s an elite competitor. Sometimes that’s hard to see at the quarterback position, but I think it comes alive in him. It’s pretty easy to see when he plays.” The two teams will face each other on Sunday. The last time when the Pirates faced the Rams, they could not win. It was last January in the NFC Divisional Round.

A tumultuous season for Tom Brady

The seven-time Super Bowl champion saw many changes this year. From going through a very public divorce to consecutively losing three games, it looks like the devil is with him. He missed a chuck of the preseason and faced criticism for attending the wedding of Robert Kraft. But can Brady redeem himself in the Sunday game?

The Rams can win if they successfully control the ball by running throughout the game. Also, if they kept the Bucs in the third-and-long situation. Just five of the Buccaneers offense’s 50 third-and-long opportunities this season have resulted in conversions. Which is 10 percent of the conversion rate and it is the worst since at least 2000. Creating interior pressure would break Tampa Bay.

After Ali Marpet retired and Alex Cappa moved to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Bucs faced a tough time on their interior line. Although Brady’s average time to throw is the quickest, he has been the least pressured QB. But if the Rams tried to get to him from the interior and move him from his spot, they may have a chance.
