New England Patriots got a steal of a deal at the 2021 NFL Draft as they signed the prodigal quarterback, Mac Jones. Ever since the preseason, the 23-year-old has magically affected the outlook of the team with his confidence and charm.
No wonder why the franchise chose him over Cam Newton. Jones, despite being a rookie, has shown some of the most poised and well-composed attitudes on the pitch, winking and smiling at the opponents and then delivering the ball almost 30 times against the Miami Dolphins.

Mac Jones against the Dolphins
However, his campaign against the Dolphins did not produce the end result all were hoping for. But the head-to-head quarterback brawl between the two rookies was certainly won by none other than Mac Jones himself. His stats game was definitely a delight to the eyes.
Completing 29 passes out of 39 attempts, drifting across 281 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions, is a well-rounded figure that a rookie can produce in his debut match. In contrast to 16 completed passes in 27 attempts covering 202 yards with one touchdown and one interception by his Dolphins counterpart Tua Tagovailoa.
Mac Jones since his arrival has made commitments after commitments which have not only impressed the players but also Head Coach Bill Belichick and the franchise officials. As everyone seems to be pretty confident in the rookie’s approach during games.
