As reported by TMZ, NFL wide receiver Mecole Hardman has just unveiled what many consider the “best chain in the league.” His stunning diamond chain boasts an incredible design featuring three jets, serving as a tribute to his nickname and his recent signing with the New York Jets. Hardman acquired this remarkable piece from Al The Jeweler at Labelle Jewelry in Totowa, NJ.

The chain took two months to create and is adorned with over 100 carats of VVS diamonds and half a kilo of gold. Beyond his remarkable chain, Mecole Hardman’s journey to becoming a New York Jets wide receiver has been marked by numerous challenges and obstacles. Recently, he opened up about one of the most frightening experiences of his life, involving his mother’s battle with a brain tumor.

Hardman opens up about his mother’s brave battle

During a Mother’s Day Q&A with New York Post columnist Steve Serby, Mecole Hardman candidly shared his mother’s challenging battle with a brain condition. He revealed that his mother, Latrivia Danyell, had to undergo surgery due to the growth of a large tumor. The surgeon had to remove the entire tumor, resulting in Latrivia having to return home without the front part of her skull. Her brain had become swollen, necessitating the temporary removal of the front skull to allow for the swelling to subside.

Hardman also shared that he stayed by his mother’s side in the hospital, sleeping there and ensuring her well-being. He expressed his commitment to staying with her until he was confident that everything was going well. Additionally, Hardman mentioned that his mother began experiencing memory loss, and during those challenging moments, he turned to prayer, seeking strength and guidance from a higher power.
