Despite the Cardinals being 7-1, their massive injury crisis framed the narrative that the match would be an even contest. Defensive powerhouse JJ Watt was more active on Twitter than anything else.

Star quarterback Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins missed this match for the Cardinals. Luckily for them, their replacements stepped up. Thanks to Colt McCoy, the Cardinals notched up a thumping victory over the 49ers. After a big victory, the mood in the camp was obviously high as the players took to social media to share their happiness.

Arizona Cardinals pull off a complete performance against the 49ers

Heading into the match, the Arizona Cardinals did not have the luxury of selecting Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Fortunately for the Cardinals, it really didn’t matter as quarterback Colt McCoy stepped up and led the Cardinals to a 31-17 victory.

James Conner was the other star player of the match for the Cardinals. Conner rushed for 96 yards and had a stellar 2 touchdowns on 18 carries. Moreover, he also caught 5 passes for 77 yards. Thankfully, it was not a one-way traffic for the offense as even the defense had to step up against the relentless 49ers offense. The defense dominated as well, as it sacked Jimmy Garoppolo five times.

JJ Watt & Co are jubilant after a thumping victory over San Francisco

Cardinals Defensive Tight End JJ Watt was very pumped up after the impressive showing against the 49ers. He was particularly impressed by James Conner and praised him in particular on Twitter. “James Conner IS THAT DUDE!!!” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Isaiah Simmons took to Twitter to praise replacement quarterback Colt McCoy. “How about Colt McCoy tho!” praised Simmons. While the other players were at their grateful best, Chandler Jones could never have been less hilarious. Jones went on Twitter joking about a missed sacking to making a hilarious comment on his fan art. All in all, it was a delightful night for the Cardinals players.
