Heartbroken Travis Kelce Reminded of Taylor Swift’s NFL Loyalties Amid a Failed Bid

Do Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift now have Bad Blood? Earlier this month, TayTay made a scheduled pit stop at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs, for a massive music concert as part of her tour. The arena was packed with audiences, and various celebrities, including the tight end, graced the show.

However, even for the Super Bowl champ, there was no entrance to Swift’s area, leaving his wish to meet the singer unfulfilled. Hurt and disappointed, the 8x Pro Bowler opened up about the missed opportunity that day on his podcast, speculating that it might be due to her allegiance to another team.

Travis Kelce made a friendship bracelet for TayTay

Recently, a clip was shared on the Kelce brothers’ podcast page on Instagram, featuring a brief conversation about the incident. While talking about the 12-time Grammy winner, the conversation soon diverted to Travis’s recent appearance at her concert. When Jason enquired his brother about the event, asking, “How was it?”, the latter replied, “Well, I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her show, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.”

The 2xSB champ then mentioned that he felt a bit sad because he didn’t get to give Taylor the bracelet he made for her. He explained that there were customizable friendship bracelets at her concerts, so he created one with his number on it for her. When Jason asked if the number was his jersey number or phone number, Travis playfully replied with a grin, “You know which one.” The duo burst into laughter, then proceeded to discuss why the singer might have refused to meet the Chiefs’ man.

Travis admitted that he took it personally, as Taylor may have had a reason for not wanting to meet him. Jason quickly suggested that it could be because she supports a different team, which might have been the reason behind it all.

Jason quickly pointed out that Taylor probably hasn’t gotten over last season’s Super Bowl, where her favorite team, the Eagles, was defeated by the Chiefs. He playfully added that the singer might have made something up to avoid meeting Travis as well. This conversation between the brother was nothing more than a playful and lighthearted interaction, as evident from Jason’s own comment on the post.

Jason jokingly took the comments of the said clip to write how Taylor’s father made the right choice, not letting Travis go near her. He also playfully added, “truly shameful act”

The reason for the 12-time Grammy winner refusing to meet the tight end remains a mystery. Whether it’s due to her allegiance or some sort of rule for meeting fans, it’s not known to the public yet.
