Deion Sanders, NFL Hall of Famer, has more worth to him than just his words. The 56-year-old head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes has changed the trajectory of the team’s career in more ways than one. He led the team to three consecutive wins in his debut season, which speaks volumes about his expertise. He was able to shock the world of the NFL when the Buffs defeated the TCU Horned Frogs, the fan favorites,  in his opening match of the season.

Coach Prime, as fans call him, has got to be one of America’s most inspirational athletes. He’s been able to conquer two sports in a single lifetime which is a monumental feat. He’s the only athlete who’s won the Super Bowl 2 times and played in MLB’s World Series. Thus, his fans had high hopes for him when he announced that he’d be taking up the role of the head coach for the Buffs. And much to everyone’s expectations, he hasn’t disappointed the fans yet.

Recently it was revealed how much revenue Colorado Buffaloes has been generating by the mere existence of Coach Prime. The numbers are staggering, to say the very least. After adding in the factors of ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, etc. the total revenue comes to around $90 million. That is a lot more money than Sanders’ 5-year contract which is valued at around $29.5 million. Hence, his contract can be rightfully termed as a “bargain.” He even went on to say, “You could argue he will be worth $1B+ to the university.

Coach Prime’s influence in the league has been unbelievable so far. With his 3 consecutive wins, the fans are excited to see what he does next. He’s a motivational individual with the sort of words of wisdom he has to offer and he’s able to show his confidence with the way he expresses his opinions. The Buffs are one of the favorites to win the league this season and the sole credit for that goes to the 2-time Super Bowl winner.

As the only player who’s able to conquer all the accolades of two sports, Sanders will forever be a name that will be etched in American sports history. He won the Super Bowl for two years consecutively with two different teams, the San Fransico 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys respectively. Thus, there is no doubt as to why he’s looked on to this much.

Even though this is his debut season as a coach, he’s already established himself as an exceptional leader. His playmaking strategies have proven to be effective in the past 3 games. If the team’s performance stays consistent throughout the season, then Sanders will have another accolade under his belt. Namely, the third coach in NFL history to win a Super Bowl in his rookie season.
