The cat is out of the bag as far as the NFL schedule for the 2023 season is concerned. There is a lot of excitement about Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets going into the season after his big move to the Big Apple. An NFL veteran talked about Rodgers and his upcoming season at the MetLife Stadium with a tinge of excitement. But will the QB be able to live up to the hype around him?
Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers after spending 18 seasons at Lambeau Field. He will have a task to take the Jets to the playoffs at least this season. While it is too early to make a call on where the Jets will finish after the season, former OT Andrew Whitworth seems positive about it. He had a conversation with Rich Eisen, who threw some shade at Rodgers deputy Zach Wilson.

Zach Wilson will have to sit behind Aaron Rodgers in the Jets setup. And according to NFL insider Rich Eisen, it could be a good thing for the franchise. Eisen believes the Jets would have suffered due to their tough schedule if Wilson was still their QB1.
“If you look at the Jets schedule and you know, we kind of just did here. But there’s no doubt in my mind this is one of the worst jet seasons ever if they go back and run it back with Zach Wilson. I know I’m saying this fully aware that the NFL is the ultimate you never know League maybe on planet Earth right? But I mean the first six games….,” Eisen said, going deep into the schedule.

But the question is, how would they actually fare with Rodgers under center? And would Wilson have succeeded with his franchise this upcoming season if A-Rod hadn’t come into town?
