New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft has no qualms about opening his wallet to restore the Patriots’ glory, as he revealed to Boston Sports Journal’s Greg Bedard, recently. His remarks contrast with Tom Brady’s former coach Bill Belichick’s suggestion that the team needs to be more frugal, implying a rift between the owner and the coach. Amidst Pats GM & CEO issues, Kraft mentioned an invitation to Brady.

Kraft revealed that Brady was quick at his invitation, and thanked Brady for being a part of the league’s history for such a long of its duration. Brady’s journey with the Patriots started in 2000 and lasted for two decades, during which he became the most decorated player in NFL history. He hung up his cleats in 2022, after spending his final three seasons with the Buccaneers.
