Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown and his erratic, offensive behavior is a familiar tune in every NFL fan’s mind. And while most have come to terms with his reckless attitude, there are a few who remember a time when he was a different person. And the change in his attitude genuinely surprises them. One such person is AB’s former teammate from back when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Michael Vick.

Vick recently appeared on Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe’s show, ‘Club Shay Shay’, where they talk about the change in AB’s behavior from his time in Pittsburgh to his recent debacles. Vick says he’s surprised at how AB has changed, and that he is nothing like he knew him from their time together with the Steelers.
Talking about AB’s attitude in Pittsburgh, Vick says, “AB was a hard worker. He believed in himself, he loved the big man, he was smart understood the system. He would just get a little agitated if he didn’t get the ball right. AB was a great teammate man. And I definitely didn’t see the behavior that I see now.”

Vick says he’s surprised at how easily Brown turned against his then-teammate, and longtime friend Tom Brady. Vick says, “That right there was a little disturbing to me, too. Because I know him, and Tom was on the same place at one time. I believe in loyalty, and I believe in true friendships. And I thought they was creating a bond. He [Tom Brady] put him [AB] in a situation where AB was able to get a ring. And he turned his back on him.”

Vick’s surprise, and disappointment, is an emotion many in the NFL community share. Brown’s hostile attitude towards Tom Brady has been the topic of discussion for a long time now. It all started when AB walked out during the game against the New York Jets.
Since then, Brown has openly trash-talked about then-coach Bruce Arians, and then Tom Brady. He took things to a new level when, during Brady’s marriage troubles, Brown posted incredibly insensitive content aimed at Brady.

AB has repeatedly found himself in the headlines for his various questionable acts. Recently, Brown has expressed an interest in returning to the NFL. But so far, no team has shown interest in signing what could immediately become a PR nightmare. Whether a coach would want to risk such a divisive figure as part of their team is something to be seen.
