Earlier, Skip Bayless tweeted, “Baker Mayfield replaces PJWalker in the 2nd half of a blowout at Cincy, leads three TD drives, throws 2 TD passes. Obviously Baker Mayfield CAN PLAY.”

After seeing his tweet, many fans took a dig at both Bayless and Mayfield, as one fan wrote:

Another fan felt the same; however, he compared Mayfield with the Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Whereas, one more fan took a dig at both Mayfield and Prescott.

One Twitter user pointed out that the Bengals had third-string defenders on the field, as Mayfield took advantage of that situation.

One more fan did not agree with Bayless’ comments and questioned Mayfield’s credentials; the Twitter user also called him ‘trash’.

Another Twitter user called out the Cowboys’ quarterback for his inconsistency and poor decision-making.

Meanwhile, one fan thinks Bayless is a fan of Mayfield.

While many fans hated Bayless’ take on Mayfield, a few fans showed support for the quarterback and wanted a fresh start for him under a better coach.
