Having won 6 Super Bowls since the turn of the century, Belichick has set up a dynasty in the NFL.

Such a feat will always invite challengers, but none that can realistically dethrone the achievement. But former Eagles QB picks Chiefs HC Andy Reid as the best in the history of the NFL over Belichick’s dynasty.

Bill Belichick has coached the New England Patriots since the millennium turned a new leaf. And the stay at Patriots coincided with the franchise harboring the QB who would go on to be the greatest ever in the game, Tom Brady. With Belichick in the dugout and Brady on the pitch, the duo won it all together. But since the departure of the QB, Belichick and the Patriots have been a shadow of themselves.

In a recent tweet shared by Dov Kleiman, Kleiman shared that former #7 of the Eagles picks Reid over Belichick. This comes days after the QB participated in Tyreek Hill’s podcasts and shared his perspective. One of two factors behind his vision is Belichick’s reliance on the retired QB when he was at the New England outfit. The numbers back up the perspective, with Belichick losing more games than he has won when Brady was unavailable for selection.

The Second factor in Vick’s view is Reid’s companionability. Mike recalls that Reid was the one who gave him a chance when he could not find a team after the Falcons dropped him. The former Eagles QB expresses great admiration for his former coach, Andy Reid. The Chiefs HC showed a great deal of consistency and communication which he brought to his players and teams. Mike Vick states that, “He might be the greatest,” hinting at Reid. With Brady retired and the new season inching closer, the Patriots fans will be delighted to hear the news of homecoming.

Belichick reuniting with Tom Brady?

Although Brady has hung up his boots in the NFL, his career off the pitch is still in its infancy. And his retirement earlier this year has signaled he is not going to return to the NFL pitch. But a call from a former team couldn’t keep Brady away as he instantly agreed to come back to the New England Patriots for the season opener, albeit as their guest this time. This will see Brady and Belichick being on the same side of the fence ever since he left the Patriots back in 2019.

The reunion will see the Patriots fans rekindle fond memories from the past with Brady rooting for the Legendary coach. Coaches have seldom developed close relationships with their QBs and Brady & Belichick is one of the prime examples of such relationships. But Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have spurred as another duo who attract fans for what they have accomplished together. Ever since 2018, the duo has managed to lift Super Bowl titles, a 3rd of Belichick and Brady’s haul.
