Aaron Rodgers‘ future within the NFL has been a huge question mark. Almost every individual in the NFL community has their eyes glued on Rodgers’ next possible destination. The Green Bay Packers veteran quarterback is also equally confused about what his NFL future looks like. Amid all the rising tensions, several teams have lined up to sign the four-time MVP within their ranks with the New York Jets making the most noise. However, Sports Writer Peter King’s recent take on Rodgers is catching the NFL world’s attention.
Rodgers, however, believes that clarity is required on his part and intends to embark on a four-day “darkness retreat”. Such a statement coming from a legend within the league has ended up rubbing a lot of top brasses the wrong way, drawing flak and criticism.

Aaron Rodger’s ability out on the field has never been in question, but his attitude has been. Some have even described him as the “Kyrie Irving” of the NFL, believing Rodgers to have an immaculate eye for controversy and drama. One such individual would be the well-renowned sports writer Peter King.

King has some really strong words to say about Aaron Rodgers. According to the NBC Sports insider, the league has not received the news of Rodgers’s darkness retreat in a positive light and has gotten tired of him.
He went on to say, “This is not in any way scientific, because there aren’t a ton of NFL GMs and personnel people who hang around the Super Bowl. But Aaron Rodgers starts what he called a four-day darkness period in the pitch dark of a home, alone, today, and there was eyebrow-raising among a few league or team people I brought this up with, the reaction being: I can see why the Packers would consider trading him. Seems like a good person, but he might be more trouble than he’s worth. Not to the Jets.”

Earlier this week, Aaron Rodgers made an appearance on the Pat McAffe show and went on to describe his darkness retreat.
“It’s four nights of complete darkness. You’re not locked in, you can leave if you can’t do it, you can just walk out the door. It’s just sitting in isolation, meditation, and dealing with your thoughts,” he added.

Hopefully, Rodgers’s retreat will help him with the answer he is seeking, and the NFL world will get to see and appreciate his talents once again.
