Colin Kaepernick has been NFL’s loudest critic. While criticism is a healthy thing and brings growth in any enterprise, avoiding facts to criticize something is not wise. And as far as the league is concerned, the former San Francisco 49er has constantly spoken out against the racial barriers existing in the NFL. He has even compared the league to primitive slave markets. And now, recently, Kaepernick had similar comments to make, but the loyal NFL fanbase is not happy.
Kaepernick’s journey away from the NFL started with him sitting out during the national anthem and then kneeling during the same. At the time, Kaepernick alluded to the racial inequalities as the reason for his behavior and the struggle has since been going on. And, when asked about his opinions on NFL’s initiatives, he had a rather interesting answer.
Has the NFL changed?

With time, the NFL has made conscious attempts to mitigate racial inequality within its ranks. Even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell admitted that he should have listened and paid heed to Colin Kaepernick’s message. With the NFL doing its best to spread a message of equality, Colin Kaepernick had other harsh words to throw at the league.

“I haven’t seen any substantial change, I think there is a lot of work to do on that front. Obviously, not playing and being out of the NFL for six years is an indictment on where they are currently at. So I wouldn’t put them at the forefront of goodwill and best of intentions in how they operate,” shared Kaepernick with NPR to promote the release of his graphic memoir, “Change the Game”.
Kaepernick further claimed that the message he preached was bigger than the game of football, and he simply couldn’t look the other way. Despite preaching the word of equality, Kaepernick’s recent outlook wasn’t received in the manner he intended. The comments managed to offend the NFL community, as fans joined hands-on social media to take sly jabs at the former NFL star.

While one fan tried making sense of the situation.
Maybe he's not seen change because he's not IN the NFL. @Kaepernick7 is a something…I'm unsure what he is…but it's ugly
