Former Raiders DT Gerald McCoy recently praised the QB. He thinks Derek Carr is one of the most underrated QBs in the NFL. Recently, McCoy was present on ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’, where he was asked by Cowherd, “Was Derek better than you thought from the outside until you joined?”

The six-time Pro-Bowler replied by saying“No. I’ve always been a Derek Carr fan. And he’ll tell you that? I told him that from afar. When I got there, I told him that I’ve always thought he was underrated.”

McCoy thinks the player was in a bad situation, but now he is impressed with his performance in the last season. McCoy further said, “I mean, you don’t have that many fourth-quarter comebacks or game-winning drives and not be special. And I just think he got a bad rep.” Also, McCoy is quite excited about how Carr would come out this season.
