Odell Beckham Jr has left a dilemma wide open in the league. He is recovering from a torn ACL but is also creating some hype around the NFL. As the dates come closer, the anticipation level is rising as well. Recently, several speculations linked OBJ with the Kansas City Chiefs. Recently, Andy Reid commented on the situation and added more fuel to the fire.

The free-agent wide receiver visited a few games as he remains in the free-agency market. It made rumbles as his step into the NFL is yet to witness. Moreover, many teams are under the rumor radar, and the Chiefs are among them. Reports deemed them as strong contestants. While Andy Reid did not keep a direct response, he did not rule out the possibility.

Andy Reid mentioned, “I can’t get into all that. He’s a heck of a football player, that I can tell you. I don’t know where he is as far as his rehab goes and that whole deal. I don’t really know what (General Manager) Brett (Veach) is (doing). Brett’s always maneuvering.

As per reports, it all started with rumors after Travis Kelce’s contract went through a restructuring. TE Kelce and his brother fueled the fire on their weekly podcast, including the athlete expressing optimism that GM Brett Veach would be keen on acquiring OBJ.

On ESPN’s ‘First Take,’ Stephen A. Smith stated the Chiefs need OBJ to capture the Super Bowl this season. He felt that way before they dropped Tyreek Hill. While Odell Beckham Jr. is not yet at that scale, he has the potential to accomplish something positive when he has access to his mobility.
