Skip Bayless might be a decorated sports journalist, but he’s well-known for his soft spot for the Dallas Cowboys. The ex-ESPN commentator is an avid NFL enthusiast and doesn’t shy away from expressing bold opinions in the sporting world. However, he seems to approve of the Cowboys’ latest off-season moves. The journalist left fans confused today when he made some bold claims regarding the Cowboys’ showing this offseason.

Talking about the recent additions to the team, he called one pick a “future hall of fame-r”?and appreciated the low cost incurred by the team while making two “beautiful” trades. After praising Jerry Jones’ recent moves on his show ‘Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED’, Bayless went on to further show his support for the team on Twitter. His tweet had mixed reactions, with fans both agreeing with him and also calling him out.

Skip certainly thinks so. In the latest contentious tweet by the sports commentator, he claims that the Cowboys have effectively won the offseason. And that too, without spending a “single penny.

The team has made quite some bold moves this offseason. They have added talented cornerback Stephon Gilmore and wide receiver Brandin Cooks to their roster. Bayless approved of the acquisitions saying, “I praise Jerry Jones for two beautiful, low-cost moves that fill two gaping holes and fixed glaring problems. I’m so proud of him.”

However, the team also parted ways with star running back Ezekiel Elliott and tight end Dalton Schultz. Cutting off Zeke might’ve helped open up cap space for the team too. Skip thinks the Cowboys have made winning moves this offseason, but not everyone agrees.
