People might be wondering what Cincinnati would have looked like today. It would appear that the city is drowning in a sea of orange and black. The city of Los Angeles, on the other hand, was utterly different, not painted in blue and yellow, but colorless like an empty beachfront.

In celebration of winning the Super Bowl LVI, the Los Angeles Rams held a victory parade on Wednesday. After 22-long years, the team has won the Super Bowl in their own backyard, in front of their own fans.

Consequently, everyone would be anticipating a massive victory parade and large crowd participation. The reality was quite the opposite. As a result, NFL fans had jokes lined up for this incredibly low crowd turnout.

In terms of sporting culture, Los Angeles is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States. Therefore, it is only natural for the city to be excited when their team wins the championship. However, watching the Rams’ victory parade coveys a different message.

Nevertheless, the pandemic could be to blame. According to FOX 11 Los Angeles, fans must have proof of vax or a negative COVID test to attend the Rams‘ championship parade.

Los Angeles: Rams House or Lakers Nation?

The Los Angeles Lakers won the 2020 NBA Finals in Orlando, in the bio-bubble. In spite of the pandemic being at its height, people were still celebrating their victory and there was a massive turnout of fans.

In addition, a crowd gathered and they were chanting “Kobe” in from of the Staples Centre. Further, amidst the pandemic, a huge celebration took place when LA’s baseball team, Los Angeles Dodgers, won the MLB 2020 Championship.

However, at a time when the pandemic situation has eased and the Super Bowl is coming to LA after 22 years, it was disappointing to see such a low turnout. Thus, this begs the question of the Los Angeles people’s commitment to their football team.
