The future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady is on the way to playing in his 23rd NFL season, setting a benchmark as one of the oldest players to play the sport. And the 44-year-old is more energetic than ever.

Recently, the signal-caller was speaking at the press conference for the Buccaneers at the training camp, where he responded to several media questions. When asked about the connection between last season’s loss against the reigning champions and his motivation to make a comeback, the veteran had a firm and blunt response.

It was a close thriller for the fans watching TB12 and Matthew Stafford locking their horns at the NFL playoffs last season. Everyone thought the ball was on Brady’s court despite a large deficit in the points.

Moreover, his record of chasing the target bolstered the hopes of Bucs fans. However, the Rams were smart enough to thwart all the plans laid by the Brady-led offensive unit.

Matt Gay went for the match-winning 30-yard kick, making the points 30-27 in favor of the Rams. An interviewer asked Brady about the motivation behind making an NFL comeback this off-season and whether it had any links to the losses he suffered against the Rams.

“It’s not, I don’t, I don’t know, it seems like forever ago. But thank you,” Brady said at the press conference. The veteran kept his mum on the matter and refused to discuss anything about his “unfinished” business.

What was the unfinished business that Tom Brady was talking about?

Earlier this year, the Buccaneers quarterback had announced that he was planning to retire. But just 40 days down the line, he returned to the field and vowed to complete his unfinished business. “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands.”

“That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG,” he wrote on Twitter announcing his comeback.
