“Happy 1st Bday to My 2nd Princess”: NFL Star Davante Adams Celebrates Daughter’s Birthday With Touching Instagram Post

Davante Adams is one of the few athletes blessed with a well-rounded supportive cast both on and off the field. While the Las Vegas Raiders‘ wide receiver welcomes a change of scenery with his franchise roping in Jimmy Garoppolo from the San Fransisco 49ers, he also watches with pride and joy as his young ones grow into their own. Kids’ birthday is always a happy occasion for the parents and the QB also expressed the same feeling on social media.

Both Adams and his better half often bless the timeline of their fans and followers, sharing wholesome instances of their daughters. As Adams continues juggling between his professional NFL career and his role as a ‘girl dad’, the Raiders WR celebrated a rather special moment with his family.

Davante Adams’s daughters are growing up fast

Just five years back, Davante Adams proposed to the love of his life and now wife, Devanne Villarreal. The two originally met as students at Fresno State University in 2012, two years prior to Adams getting drafted by the Green Bay Packers. Their decade-long romance still holds to this day, as the couple recently celebrated their second daughter’s first birthday.

Taking to Instagram to share some of his precious moments with his daughter, Adams wrote alongside the post, “Happy 1st Bday to my 2nd princess. I love being your dad stinky baby. Daddy loves u“.

Adams is blessed with two beautiful daughters, Daija Leigh, and Dezi Lynn. As it turns out, Davante has still managed to stay the same as he was in university. Speaking about her husband, Villarreal described Davante Adams as “best girl dad” as he has never had to change a single diaper the first week their older daughter Daija was born.

Despite his otherwise intimidating presence, Davante Adams has found the perfect balance between his fame and his family. Adams appreciates the peace and serenity his family brings and has made efforts throughout his career to keep his closely knitted family together.

The family man

Davante Adams’s family has played a huge role in his joining the Vegas franchise. Turns out Adams signed with the Raiders to be closer to his family in California. Davante wants his family to watch him succeed and even put out a massive sum of money to make it happen in 2022.

Most of Adams’s family had not seen the man in action, and Adams wanted to change that. So, he did what every other NFL athlete would have done. He plunked some serious coins into one of the spendy suites at Allegiant.

“I spent about a half a million dollars on a Raiders suite, But it’s good for the family. I probably won’t ever see it, but it’s fun,” said Davante at the time.

In addition to his wife and kids, Adams wanted his grandparents to be part of the experience as well, as he got them set up at one of the MGM resorts. Needless to say, the family had a blast and they went on to celebrate his daughter’s birthday the next week.
