Love is in the air! 49ers Star Christian McCaffrey had quite the eventful weekend, as the All-Pro RB spent it celebrating the birthday of his future wife. Olivia Culpo, the former Miss Universe, turned 31 yesterday. She was showered with love from family and fans, but perhaps, above all, from McCaffrey himself. 

Although the couple has been dating for nearly four years, they recently cracked into the limelight when they announced their engagement just over a month ago. Ever since, the lovely duo have been deep in preparations for their wedding day. McCaffrey is in for a long summer as the RB prepares for his big day with Culpo, while also focusing on leading the 49ers to success this season.

To celebrate Olivia’s birthday, Christian shared pictures from their recent engagement on Instagram, captioning the sweet images with a simple but heartfelt message, “I love you.” In response, Olivia couldn’t help but gush over her fiancé, sharing her ‘favorite birthday gift ever’ on her IG story – McCaffrey himself.

“My favorite bday present this year,” she wrote. “What more could I ask for?” The couple’s love and adoration for each other is palpable, and it’s heartwarming to see them celebrate each other’s milestones with so much love and affection. Even 49ers teammate George Kittle had to drop into McCaffrey’s comments as he wished the first lady of the Niners a happy birthday.

Christian and Olivia’s love story is nothing short of a fairytale. The couple has been dating for four years and has shared some adorable moments together. From romantic getaways to supporting each other’s careers, the couple has always been each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Especially as the couple has seen wild levels of success in their respective fields. 

The couple found each other after McCaffrey liked one of Culpo’s posts in early 2019. The couple were on and off until they officially confirmed that they were together in November 2019,  as the couple posted pictures of each other. From social media to engaged, Culpo and McCaffrey’s love story is proof that sometimes, the best things in life come when you least expect them.
