The FCFL is the next generation of interactive football. All the shots are called by the fans making them feel more immersed in the action. A lot of former NFL players have joined the seven-week campaign recently. But Skip Bayless had an issue with TO joining the fold.

The FCFL is beneath Terrell Owens?

In the recent episode of UNDISPUTED, the co-hosts Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless discuss the return of Terrell Owens to the football field. It seems like both of them was not too pleased with TO’s decision to return to action. The last time Owens played in the NFL was in 2010. There has been a 12-year gap since the receiver retired. He is now 48-years-old. Back in the day, he was unstoppable, but now time has slowed him down. TO still wanted to play football, so the FCFL might be a good place to start.

But Skip Bayless thinks Owens is ruining his legacy by returning to the field. “Terrell Owens finally made it into your Hall of Fame. He finally became a made man. I think it meant the world to him. He got validated. I congratulated him, and it’s the ultimate honor in your sport,” said Bayless.

“Because of that, I was a little taken aback. Hall of Famer Terrell Owens is going to stoop to playing in the Fan Controlled Football League at age 48. It’s so beneath his stature, his dignity that he has earned. His honor of being a Hall of Famer. You’re gonna come out of retirement at 48 to play in this?”

Bayless believes being a Hall of Famer, TO should not return to the minor leagues. His reputation might get affected. It is very unlikely that an NFL team will pick him up at this point.
