However, tracking down the 7-time Super Bowl champion to have his own handshake is among his absolute favorite career flashbacks.

During a recent appearance on ESPN+’s America’s Caddie program, golf analyst Michael Collins inquired Ryan Fitzpatrick about Fitzpatrick’s favorite memory from his 17-year career with nine different teams. He recalls him with the New York Jets when Brady didn’t shake his hand just after his big win. Tom Brady was in the New England Patriots at that time.

He stated, “Beating Tom Brady, after the first time, because after the first time he didn’t shake my hand. I was on the Jets [for the second win, four years later], and I had to chase him down on the 50-yard line.”

Brady, he claims, is a fierce competitor who is devastated once he ends up losing. He furthermore mentions, “Apparently, he hates losing more than everybody else hates losing. When he does lose, I want a handshake.”
