Aaron Rodgers injury update
The game was largely out of hand for the Packers when Aaron Rodgers left the field. When he came out for the post-match presser, he looked a bit submissive and toned down. Rodgers told the press about the injury that he looked to have sustained in the game.
“Had some hard time breathing and rotating my upper body. I was worried about puncturing the lung as well. So, I want to get that checked out….get scanned up,” Rodgers said. He ruled out being out for the season and said he expects to play next week. But that would depend on him getting a clear from the medical staff.

Rogers exited the game late in the third quarter after a field goal drive to cut the deficit to 13. He sustained an oblique injury and played the last drive in a great deal of pain. Backup QB Jordan Love led a late rally in the fourth quarter but could not catch the high-flying Eagles. The Packers lost 33-40.

The Packers’ woes continue
The season has gone from bad to worse for the Packers. With every passing game week, it is becoming evident that the Packers will not feature in the playoff lineup this season. They have won just four times in the 12 games they played this year.
Aaron Rodgers had a mixed game for the Packers. Before going off due to the injury, the Packers QB threw two touchdown passes. But the Eagles’ defense also intercepted two of his passes. Adding to that the two injuries that he has now, the equation becomes very bleak for him and his franchise. He might not feature in the week 13 game against the Chicago Bears. A big blow indeed.

Love will probably replace Rodgers next week if needed. He showed a little glimpse of what can be expected of him. He threw six completions for 113 yards after replacing Rodgers. Love also threw one touchdown pass. The Packers are third in their division and a playoff berth looks unlikely. Where will they finish on the table?
