‘Gronk Would Get Naked’: Tom Brady Describes Rob Gronkowski’s Antics Inside Patriots Locker Room That Made Reporters Feel Uncomfortable

The Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and former tight end Rob Gronkowski shared a special bond. This relationship was always a treat to watch, and fans often loved seeing the duo taking on the opponents with their sharp instincts. Not just on the field, they were brothers off the field and especially Gronkowski pulling legs with his crazy antics. While speaking in an interview, the Seven-time Super Bowl champion recalled the moments when Gronk used to run naked inside the locker room.

Brady and Gronkowski collaborated during the 2010 season for the first time. Since then, the duo proved to be irreplaceable assets for the Patriots, winning titles for the franchise. Not to mention, Gronk was always a funny guy in the locker room.

A few years ago, Tom Brady gave an interview with Howard Stern on Sirius XM. Stern asked what it was like to roam freely naked inside the locker room? The host mentioned that he always felt embarrassed imagining the moment and did Brady ever get ashamed about it.

Well, spending time for more than 20 years with several players from different teams, Brady said that he was used to it. However, Stern didn’t stop and emphasized Gronk’s attitude within the team.

Brady revealed that Gronk didn’t care about what others thought of him. “Gronk is, I mean, that guy’s like a Greek god. His body and that guy’s just jacked up,” he said.

“It’s actually funny because I think they still let reporters in the locker room. So it’d be funny because Gronk would get naked and throw the towel over his shoulder and just walk through the locker room with all the reporters. And I would just laugh because you know, Gronk obviously, didn’t give a sh*t. But he would just strut through,” Brady explained the entire scenario.

After an array of rumors and speculations, Gronkowski announced his retirement this offseason. Everyone expected his return for at least one more season after Brady vowed to play ball again. But he made his decision loud and clear by thanking his teammates and franchises for unconditional support.

In return, Brady extended his love for the tight end. “Teammate, friend, brother, just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Gronk,” Brady said in his post. “Nobody has ever embodied the idea of ‘leaving it all out on the field’ as Rob has throughout his entire career,” he added.

As a result, the bond that lasted for 11 years officially came to an end. Well, at the moment there are uncertainties looming over Brady’s future as he took abrupt leaves from the team’s training session. It will be interesting to see how the duo foster their relationship in the next phase of their lives.
