What if the NFL is scripted? The sport that is hailed by fans across the nation turns out to be a mere piece of pre-designed drama. In the wake of the NFL being called scripted, Tom Brady has come to the rescue, dismissing all such claims. Ahead of the 2023 NFL season kick-off, Tom Brady posted an Instagram story, featuring a video shared by the NFL’s official Instagram account. In the video, Brady himself dismisses the claims. And he does so humorously.
In the video, Tom Brady said, “Do I think the NFL is scripted? You think I really would have played along with a script that had me losing to Peyton’s little brother, Eli, twice in the Super Bowl … No.”
The NFL landscape has witnessed one of the greatest quarterback rivalries with Manning and Brady. Peyton Manning served the New York Giants as a quarterback for his entire NFL career. In his tenure with the Giants, Manning and the company snatched two Super Bowl titles from Brady, one in the 2007 season and the other in the 2011 season.

Another disappointment for Brady and the camp came during the 2011 season. Manning and his team were the last barriers they needed to tackle to grab the championship. And yet again the score was in the Giants’ favor with 21-17. In both seasons, 2007 and 2011, Eli Manning was crowned as the Super Bowl MVP. This battle of the legends shines eternally in the golden books of the NFL. Where both Brady and Manning are in their post-retirement phase, the NFL fraternity awaits the first game of the 2023 regular season on September 7 when defending champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Detroit Lions.
