Green Bay Packers head to their week 9 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday without the likes of the superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but the return of the all-important, wide receiver Davante Adams is going to relieve some amount of pressure from the replacement QB Jordan Love.
As the receiver returned to the squad during the team’s Thursday practice after missing 10 days, including the Packers’ remarkable win over the Arizona Cardinals, Adams has been officially lifted from the Covid reserve. And now he is expected to suit up against the Chiefs and help Love in sealing the win.
Davante Adams returns to the Green Bay Packers squad
Davante Adams landed on the Covid reserve ahead of his clash against the Cardinals, subsequently joined by his fellow wideout Allen Lazard. Aaron Rodgers led the offense without his favorite two targets and still register a win against the undefeated side.

A Pack without Aaron Rodgers
It’s not just the wide receiver returning to the squad, as defensive coordinator Joe Barry also set foot on the field on Thursday after returning from the Covid reserve, giving the Packers team the boost they require. “It’s great to see those guys,” coach Matt LaFleur said. “They were fired up to be back. It’s a huge benefit to this team.”
Adams, prior to his 10-day absence, has made a terrific start to the season as he leads the Packers with 52 catches for 744 yards. And with that, we can sum it up that the wideout is going to be the most go to target for the replacement QB Jordan Love.

And as the Packers are on a seven-game winning streak, it is up to the 23-year-old quarterback to carry forward the incredible run. Although it going to be a challenge for the rookie to go against the 4-4 desperate Chiefs without the likes of some top weapons.
