During the Sunday night win over the Baltimore Ravens, Aaron Rodgers made history. The current Green Bay Packers star quarterback tied the legendary record set by Brett Favre. Both the quarterbacks currently have 442 touchdowns in a Packers shirt. Nobody is more proud of Aaron Rodgers than Brett Favre himself.

Favre has been in the corner of Rodgers for a long time. He knew Aaron was destined for greatness. Both of them have developed a master and pupil type of relationship over the years. Every time Rodgers needs help, Brett Favre has his back.

Brett Favre’s faith in Aaron Rodgers

After Aaron Rodgers tied Brett Favre by making his 442nd touchdown, Favre congratulated him on Twitter. He replied to a tweet made by the official Green Bay Packers’ account with, “Good work [Aaron Rodgers] keep it going.”

After the tweet, the former Packers quarterback made an appearance on the radio and said, “Aaron’s going to shatter every record out there if he continues to play. He’s better now than he’s ever been and shows no signs of slowing down.” Brett adds, “Whether he goes to another team or not, he’s gonna make whoever he plays with so much better. He’s just a prolific playmaker. Probably, the best playmaker that I think we have ever seen.” [h/t The Spun]

Brett Favre has always had a lot of faith in Rodgers, and the quarterback has never let him down. The only thing Rodgers does on the field is become better than he was before. He definitely is a prolific playmaker.

The 2021 season has been great for Aaron Rodgers. The 38-year-old looks like a million bucks on the field. Rodgers has recorded 3,487 yards, with only four interceptions in 13 games this season. He has also made 30 touchdowns. Everything Brett Favre has said about Aaron Rodgers is true. When it comes to football, Rodgers is among the best of the best.

With an impressive 11 wins and only 3 losses, it’s a no-brainer that Green Bay is making it into the playoffs.
