A couple of days ago, news broke out that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19. The NFL community was devastated hearing this news as Green Bay Packers, but the narrative took a complete 360 the next day.
The next day, NFL announced that Aaron Rodgers won’t be able to participate against the Kansas City Chiefs owing to him being unvaccinated. While being unvaccinated is understandable, what irked people more was that Rodgers some time ago claimed the opposite. Owing to this, Rodgers has been widespread criticism and backlash from his fans to pundits to TV show hosts.

Jimmy Kimmel calls Aaron Rodgers a “Karen”
Just like numerous NFL fans, Jimmy Kimmel was also disgusted with Aaron Rodgers for misleading people about his vaccination status. The late-night show host compared him to a “Karen” and blamed him for letting down his fans and well-wishers.
“Aaron is a Karen, that’s the fact of the matter,” the host declared. “Honestly, the only thing worse than not getting vaccinated when you’re in close contact with other people is letting them think you’re vaccinated when you’re not. It’s basically the COVID equivalent of ‘the condom fell off,” Kimmel concluded. Brutal!!
Rodgers tests positive for COVID-19; lies about being vaccinated
A couple of days ago, NFL Insider and reliable journalist Tom Pelissero broke the news that Aaron Rodgers had tested positive for COVID-19. This means that the Green Bay quarterback won’t be able to lead his team against the upcoming decisive clash against Patrick Mahomes‘ Kansas City Chiefs.

After the unfortunate news, the NFL world expressed their sympathies towards the quarterback. But the narrative changed all of a sudden when NFL a day later reported that the quarterback was in fact unvaccinated. This enraged the fans even more because a few months ago, he had claimed to be “immunized”.

Unfortunately for the Packers, this is not the first time that their player will be out with COVID. Before Rodgers, they already lost Joe Barry, Davante Adams, and Kurt Benkert. Luckily, they have a decent replacement for Rodgers. Jordan Love will replace the star quarterback against the Chiefs. He will make his first start in a really long time.
