The recent Aaron Rodgers trade might just be the best thing that has happened to the Jets. The last time they won a Super Bowl Championship was decades ago. It would not be a mistake to assume that the Jets might have a lot of expectations from Rodgers. Especially after a negotiation that felt like an eternity.

“I wish more Packers fans were as frustrated as I was,” said the fan as he went on a tirade against the Quarterback.

It’s hard to say whether this fan’s frustration stems from the Packers not winning more Super Bowl Titles, the QB‘s performance, or the trade between the Packers and the Jets. It’s difficult to point out any shortcomings in the veteran’s performance. Though the Packers have won only one Super Bowl Championship under Rodgers’ reign, it would be unfair to dump the blame on just one person.

Now that Jordan Love is the Packers man on the front lines, it would be interesting to see how it plays out for the Packers.  As for the Jets, A-Rod joining the team might be a huge motivation. Jets have struggled with post-season games for the last 12 years. If this is an attempt to save the team, this trade might just be the thing that the Jets need.

Rodgers recently reworked his contract with the Jets. He has reportedly taken a $35 million pay cut, which is unheard of. The extensive details of his contract with the Jets can be found on the internet. Rodgers wanted the team to have more cap space for future trades and bring in new talent.

“It’s a win-win-win for everybody” mentions Rodgers while discussing the new deal with ESPN.
