Now that Jordan Love is the Packers man on the front lines, it would be interesting to see how it plays out for the Packers.  As for the Jets, A-Rod joining the team might be a huge motivation. Jets have struggled with post-season games for the last 12 years. If this is an attempt to save the team, this trade might just be the thing that the Jets need.

Rodgers recently reworked his contract with the Jets. He has reportedly taken a $35 million pay cut, which is unheard of. The extensive details of his contract with the Jets can be found on the internet. Rodgers wanted the team to have more cap space for future trades and bring in new talent.
