Experienced NFL wide receiver Davante Adams is having one hell of a season with the Green Bay Packers. The former Fresno State man has been at Lambeau Field since 2014.

But he has truly hit his peak since September, finding a strong connection with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The pair has made some dazzling plays over the course of the season as they won the NFC North title with a 13-3 record.

Rodgers has labeled the 28-year-old wideout as ‘one of the best teammates’ he’s ever played with. Adams has 1,374 receiving yards with 18 receiving touchdowns in 15 appearances this season.

Packers wideout Davante Adams heaps praise on teammate Allen Lazard

Davante Adams made an appearance on USA Today’s Clubhouse Live show earlier this week. He is known for his vociferous nature on the football field. His trash-talk game is second to none. But Adams has appeared to be calm and composed this season. He explains why.

“Lot of trash talking and stuff that goes on at the field, you know, but I’ve noticed that my trash-talking has gone down a lot this year because of Allen being out there because people are not really worried about me.

“Allen’s out there just antagonizing the defense and you can see him get under their skin, he does a lot for us by taking guys out of their element.

“We utilize him in a bunch of different ways and um, whatever he’s doing, he’s making sure he’s being impactful out there,” Adams said on the show.
