Aaron Rodgers has had a phenomenal season for the Green Bay Packers. The quarterback led the Packers to a 12-3 record, the best in the NFC.

Due to his performances, the Packers entered the Playoffs as the first seed. In addition to this, Rodgers is the frontrunner for the MVP this year, which would be his third if he won.

Packers wide receiver Davante Adams spoke to The Athletic recently. When asked about who he thinks is the frontrunner for the MVP this season, Adams unsurprisingly backed his Green Bay Packers teammate Rodgers.

He believes that there should be no debate over who deserves to win the MVP this season, considering how Rodgers has performed this year.

He said, “The MVP should be locked up. There’s nothing else to really talk about. You look at what we’ve done and what he’s been able to do, and they’ve hit him with everything.

“Said he didn’t have any weapons, and we go out there and go 13-3 regular season, which isn’t our main goal, obviously, but it’s a hell of an accomplishment, especially when you’re in your second year with a new staff.”

Adams went on to give his seal of approval for Aaron Rodgers to win the MVP this season. And he declared that Rodgers has already locked down the award.

He added, “So it says a lot about him. I could talk all day about his MVP push and all of that, but I think he’s allowed his play to step up and do that… It’s pretty clear to me who the MVP of the season is. And it’s going to be a person who’s won a couple of them before.”

Rodgers has been excellent this year. Few can deny how good he has played for the Packers. While Rodgers’ play has been spectacular on an individual level, he has also helped elevate his teammates throughout the season, including Davante Adams.

No one has confirmed the MVP results, even though Adams is confident of the result. However, Rodgers is a strong candidate for the trophy, but he faces stiff competition from Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the trophy.
