Aaron Rodgers broke Brett Favre’s record
Brett Favre played in the NFL for 20 magnificent years. Favre began his career in 1991 after the Atlanta Falcons drafted him in the second round. In the following year, he joined the Green Bay Packers, where he made a name for himself. Before Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre was considered the premier Packers quarterback.
During his heyday, Favre set a franchise record. He scored a total of 442 touchdowns for the Packers. It was a stunning feat to achieve by any quarterback. If he wouldn’t have joined the New York Jets in 2008, that number could have been higher. But even 442 is impressive, nonetheless.
Aaron Rodgers perhaps became the greatest Green Bay Packers quarterback ever recently. Rodgers has taken over the record set by Favre as he made his 442nd touchdown. The big difference between the two is of interceptions. Brett threw 228 interceptions whereas Rodgers only threw 93. Aaron Rodgers still has time to make more touchdowns with the Packers and extend his own record.
