Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have been terrific for the major part of the 2020 NFL season. They are atop the NFC North Division table with a 5-2 record followed by Chicago Bears in second. The Packers will go up against Kyle Shanahan’s San Francisco 49ers on Friday. However, head coach Matt LaFleur and Rodgers have a bit of a ‘dilemma’ on their hands.
The Packers will be without star running back Aaron Jones, who is dealing with a calf issue. They will also miss out on the services of Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon. The latter reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week, and Williams maintained close contact with him during that period.

Here’s what Aaron Rodgers said at the prospect of playing with Dex and Ervin on Sunday.
“I think as a competitor you’re always excited about the challenges. You’d love having your guys in there at full strength, for sure, but there is that fun challenge of going in there without some of those guys and trying to find a way to win.”

“I love Dex. Dex has a really good attitude. He’s done a nice job of growing up in the offense and feeling more comfortable with the checks and his responsibilities in pass blocking and route running. It seems like he’s a little more settled this year and feeling more confident,” Rodgers told the team’s official website.
In addition to that, the two-time NFL MVP also spoke highly of 27-year-old RB Tyler Ervin.
He said, “He can do a lot, can play receiver. He can be our fly-option guy, he can play in the backfield. With those two guys in the protocol, we’re going to have to have him play an even bigger role this week to make sure we’re getting our best guys on the field.”
