Aaron Rodgers delivers a record-breaking performance against the Browns
Aaron Rodgers is a certified legend of the game, and each passing game is a testament to this claim. Earlier today, the superstar QB completed 443 passing touchdowns in his career for Green Bay, breaking Packers legend Favre’s record of 442 TDs.
What’s more impressive about the legend in making is how efficiently he achieved the feat compared to Brett Favre. The Packers’ captain scored 443 TDs in 45 fewer games. Apart from that, he also has less than an astonishing 1,730 attempts from the former record holder.
Post-match, the Packers quarterback at first found it hard to believe about his new record. “It’s a lot of touchdowns,” said Rodgers. He then put on his serious face and gave all the credit to his teammates, coach, and fans. “I am very fortunate to have played with the guys I’ve played with, to be coached by the men I was coached with. I have so much respect and gratitude for this game.”
Green Bay Packers thwart late comeback from the Browns; Twitter reacts
Aaron Rodgers, earlier today, pulled off a gritty 24-22 victory over a passionate Cleveland Browns. The game was a roller coaster ride, with it going all the way to the final minute. A last-ditch Rasul Douglas interception on Baker Mayfield meant that the Browns fell short by a 2 point margin.
Browns QB Baker Mayfield not only got intercepted in the decisive moment of the game, but he also had three other interceptions to cap off an already disappointing night. On the other hand, the Packers’ QB, as always, was at his usual best. WR Davante Adams continued his rich vein of form as he had yet another 2TD game.
All said and done, the match was an absolute banger, and the folks at Twitter really loved it. Following are some of the best Twitter reactions –
