The Minnesota Vikings came from behind to pip the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. This is the Vikings’ seventh successive win in the league this season. And they have one man to thank for it, wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Even Odell Beckham Jr. was in awe.

Jefferson converted a fourth down, late in the fourth quarter, to keep the Minnesota offense on the field against the Buffalo Bills. And what a stunning catch it was.

Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. praised the catch. But he had only two words for it, “Good Lord”. OBJ has been tipped to join many teams when he returns from injury. The Bills are one of them.

The NFL World joined OBJ in awe of the catch. But it also stoked a debate over the greatest catch in NFL history.

The Vikings trailed the Bills by four points late in the fourth quarter. On a mind-boggling fourth and 18 snap, the Vikings QB Kirk Cousins threw a Hail Mary towards wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The Bills cornerback Cam Lewis tried to intercept the ball but Jefferson jumped ahead of him to claim an almost impossible catch. And it kept the Vikings’ offense on the field. Surely the Catch of the year, even if not all time.

The Vikings’ winning streak 

With an overtime win over the Bills, the Vikings have extended their winning streak to seven. The streak started in week four with a win over the Detroit Lions. Since then, the Vikings have one-upped every team they have met. When last time the Vikings lost in the season, was against the Philadelphia Eagles in week three. The Eagles are the only unbeaten team left in the entire league this season with an 8-0 record.

New head coach Kevin O’Connell has created a team to beat this season. The franchise from Minnesota has won eight of its nine games. The Vikings are sitting at the top of the NFC North divisional table. They have almost confirmed their division title, and it is theirs to lose.
