Is Russell Wilson’s redemption arc going to be successful this upcoming season? This is the question that fans of the Denver Broncos will be pondering after his unimpressive and disappointing debut for the Broncos. The team signed Russell Wilson on a five-year $245 million deal from the Seattle Seahawks, after being left in awe over his brilliant performance with the team. But the QB could not live up to his own hype, putting up career-low numbers in his 2022 debut for the Broncos.
And now, the 34-year-old has been winning back the confidence of fans in the offseason as he continues his preparations for his comeback. With new HC Sean Payton in place, the Bronco nation is hopeful of Wilson finding his stellar performance back, despite another looming concern surrounding the QB.

As a part of his commitment to reviving his on-field performance, Wilson also underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to address the long-term ailment. And this surgery comes after he underwent the knife in 2021 after breaking it against the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.

But it looks like the surgery has not stopped the QB from training to be at the peak of his physical fitness. Wilson recently shared a post on Instagram, where he see him engaging in an explosive leg workout. After the knee surgery, the explosive power of Wilson in the video suggests that he is recovering pretty well. After being sacked 55 times last season, the team has also brought in Ben Powers and Mike McGlinchey in the offseason as new members of their offensive line to protect Wilson better.
While the QB continues his road to resurgence, fans also seem to have faith in their $245 million signing after seeing him gradually improve in the offseason.
Fans are supportive of Wilson making a strong comeback
Despite fans doubting the money spent on acquiring Russell Wilson after his dismal debut, fans seem to have started believing in the 34-year-old QB to revive his own lost glory. They took to the comment section of the post by Wilson to share their love and support for the QB.
